Follow along as Dr. Konrad ATTACKS the development of your Lateral Stabilization muscles in this Module.

Up until this point the prior two modules PRIMARILY focused on sagittal movement (front and back/up and down). This is the primary way humans move and it is the SAFEST plane of motion to train - that is why we start, master, and develop our sagittal movement first (also referred to as frontal and posterior chain).

In order to have EFFICIENT movement - we need to train our lateral stabilizers. These muscles ALLOW for forward and back movement to happen while upright. We actually push SIDE TO SIDE when we walk, run, jump. This LATERAL shift/movement PROPELS us forward.

In this Module Dr. Konrad focuses in on developing those lateral stabilizers functionally. In order to maximally and safely engage these muscles, Dr. Konrad get you to go from 4 points of contact (both knees/hands) to just 2 points of contact (same side elbow and knee). This position also allows you to develop balance and coordination between your upper and lower body by challenging your core in this side plane of movement.

Follow along as much as you are able and progress to each movement strategy as you develop the skill, balance, and strength!

Happy Training!
